We Are So Back: Halloween Photoshoot with Fetish Performer Lexus Wicked
We are so back! It’s officially Halloween season, and I couldn’t think of a better time to jump back into the swing of things. What have I been up to since (checks last post) APRIL!?! Honestly, I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve been living life—shooting photos (of course), working gigs, going to parties, watching the downfall of Western democracy—but now I’m back on the blog and ready to share new work.
Today I have a brand-new Halloween photoset featuring one of my favorite fetish performers, Lexus Wicked. My first official shoot with Lexus was in September 2021 as part of a duo with her performance partner (and my longtime friend) Val Vampyre. That makes this set our four-year anniversary shoot!
Even before that, I unknowingly photographed Lexus years earlier—back in 2015 at a Fetish Factory Bloodlust party. It’s been incredible watching her grow as a performer and model over the years, and I absolutely love collaborating with her.
Shooting Halloween Season Content
This photoshoot was part of a bigger push I’ve been making to create seasonal Halloween content. It was super casual—just two longtime collaborators out making something fun. We had almost no game plan going in, and Florida’s hurricane season almost rained us out, but that unpredictability is part of the adventure. It felt like two musicians showing up just to jam. Lexus put together a super cute demon look, and we hit the road.
Finding Locations in South Florida
Our first attempt didn’t go as planned. I had hoped to revisit a cool playground (where I recently shot with Kayla Bee—set coming soon), but it was locked up at night. We were on a time crunch, and things were starting to feel hopeless.
Then I noticed a blue light in the distance and decided to follow it. These lights fascinate me. They’re not intentional—LED streetlights degrade over time, turning from white to an eerie deep blue. This accidental beauty fit perfectly with my aesthetic. Alongside the blue glow, we also found stark white brick apartment walls that made a great backdrop, even if briefly.
South Florida can feel repetitive—strip malls and neighborhoods everywhere—but there are always hidden gems. Just as we were about to give up, we stumbled on a gorgeous Catholic Church. Golden doors, strong architecture, glowing lights, and not a single security guard in sight. It was the perfect blessing for our demonic shoot. That’s also where Lexus unveiled her demon mask, and the vibe went to the next level.
The Dent Demon Finale
For the final shot, we circled back to a spot we’d noticed at the very start: a business called The Dent Demon. The sign was too perfect to pass up, and I’m glad we saved it for the finale. The shot we captured there pulled the whole set together.
Gratitude & Looking Ahead
Lexus is not only incredibly talented but also endlessly patient with my creative process. Some models get frustrated when I want to explore instead of sticking to a rigid plan, but Lexus gets it. She lets me cook.
And I appreciate your patience too. Like any artist, I go through phases where I question what I’m doing, why I’m doing it, and suddenly months have flown by. But you keep supporting me, and that means everything.
I don’t want to promise the moon, but I do have a lot of exciting shoots and ideas coming your way as I get back into regular posting. Stay tuned—and if you dig what I’m doing, spread the word. Share with friends, family, and even foes so I can keep building this weird, wonderful world.
All the love,
Jay
